Seems like just more erosion of a culture by implanting yet another shitty American food chain. Do they really need Taco Hell? Why would they give up their food for that?
Because 1. "Their food" is everyones food really. They don't have local Emirates food. There is no such thing. Unless you consider dates local food. Think America in terms of a "melting pot" of different foods. That's what you find here. The closest to "local food" would be Lebanese. Or Indian I guess.
2. Who would eat this? ME! God, I really miss Taco Hell. As sad as that may sounds it's a little piece of home. A cheap little piece of home. You gotta remember that this place is 90% expat so I imagine they will do well.
at least it is off in dubai, so we wont be getting sick off it too often. Tho Im sure they will open one here soon enough.. one more place to have deliver to work anyway.
